The Nepal Science and Technology Institute (NUST) has made a powerful example that Nepal will jump on new technology if investment and technology are invested. Nast has invented a new technology for producing petroleum products from plastic waste that is wasted on biological technology. The recent success of NUST is expected to significantly contribute to the reduction of growing fuel shortages in the country and to control environmental pollution by managing plastic waste. After a long period of scientific research and testing, Nast is about to introduce a new technology for the production of plastic oils.

Dr Rabindra Dhakal, senior scientist at Nast’s campaign to extract oil from plastics, said that Nast has incorporated new technology by leaping into biological technology. Plastics have been brought from Japan for testing on devices that can convert gasoline, diesel and mantel.
